The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling also idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08811 Possible Causes:
08811 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08811 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
