This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission control unit (j217), programming error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor wheel speed signal 3, range / performance also secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
08811 Possible Causes:
08811 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08811 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
