This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure sensor causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open and wait then coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
08810 Possible Causes:
08810 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08810 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
