The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
08808 Possible Causes:
08808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

What To Check After Fixing 08808 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
