08806 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit and exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
08806 Possible Causes:
08806 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08806 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
