Staring in engine exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
08803 Possible Causes:
08803 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08803 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
