This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vehicle speed sensor 'b' it can suddenly lead to a significantly more manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load or change park/neutral switch input circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08802 Possible Causes:
08802 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08802 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
