Diameter in engine rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low or change cylinder 1 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
08801 Possible Causes:
08801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 08801 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
