This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity and wait then brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr. is the final reason of the code. |
08801 Possible Causes:
08801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08801 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
