Staring in engine data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low or ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08799 Possible Causes:
08799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
