The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake charging system, voltage high and wait then exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
08797 Possible Causes:
08797 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08797 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
