Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high you can see the potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
08793 Possible Causes:
08793 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08793 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
