The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault activation starter relay 2, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high or change coolant pump control, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
08793 Possible Causes:
08793 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 08793 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
