Staring in engine ecm/pcm power input, signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system power supply voltage, open circuit or change coolant pump control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
08791 Possible Causes:
08791 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08791 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
