08788 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low or injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08788 Possible Causes:
08788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08788 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
