08781 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine control module defective run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance you can see the motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08781 Possible Causes:
08781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08781 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
