This something to do with the intake camshaft timing butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
08780 Possible Causes:
08780 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08780 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
