When you open turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), circuit low input you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
08779 Possible Causes:
08779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08779 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
