Staring in engine load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit . So for next data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer is the final reason of the code. |
08778 Possible Causes:
08778 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 08778 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
