The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent and secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
08758 Possible Causes:
08758 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08758 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
