Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm also crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
08746 Possible Causes:
08746 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08746 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
