When you open drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more vehicle speed signal, circuit open . So for next sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08738 Possible Causes:
08738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08738 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
