The problem is about hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
08731 Possible Causes:
08731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08731 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of ecu number 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
