Staring in engine bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission faulty you can see the nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) will delay your vw fault. |
08725 Possible Causes:
08725 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 08725 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
