This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible and turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |

08718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 08718 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
