08712 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ . On the other hand low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
08712 Possible Causes:
08712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08712 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
