When you open reset-resistant limp-mode active run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely or kick down switch, error message from engine contr. is the final reason of the code. |
08710 Possible Causes:
08710 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08710 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
