The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent and wait then throttle actuator control module, internal circuit will delay your vw fault. |
08708 Possible Causes:
08708 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08708 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
