When you open control module 2 for cooling fan, faulty to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
08703 Possible Causes:
08703 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 08703 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
