Diameter in engine cylinder 2 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction you can see the ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
08696 Possible Causes:
08696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08696 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
