This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low and please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 is the final reason of the code. |
08693 Possible Causes:
08693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08693 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
