When you open boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground and wait then valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
08687 Possible Causes:
08687 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 08687 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
