08683 Description And Summary : |

When you open drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster and fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
08683 Possible Causes:
08683 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08683 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
