When you open exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor load signal, error message from ecu also transmission control unit (j217), programming error will delay your vw fault. |
08680 Possible Causes:
08680 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08680 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1; system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
