Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low and relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
08674 Possible Causes:
08674 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08674 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
