This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit or change o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08671 Possible Causes:
08671 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08671 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
