Diagnosing engine bar with catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injection pump, timing calibration not learned and intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

08668 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08668 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
