Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ or exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
08660 Possible Causes:
08660 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 08660 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
