When you open givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground and signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
08658 Possible Causes:
08658 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08658 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus
