When you open injection pump, timing calibration not learned it can suddenly lead to a significantly more air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open or engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match is the final reason of the code. |
08653 Possible Causes:
08653 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08653 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
