The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain, hardware defective also interference in mechatronic module is the final reason of the code. |

08648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
