When you open immobilizer query not yet performed mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
08648 Possible Causes:
08648 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 08648 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
