This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent and exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high will delay your vw fault. |

08646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 08646 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
