This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

08643 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08643 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 9 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
