Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply, malfunction and oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
08641 Possible Causes:
08641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08641 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
