Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times it can suddenly lead to a significantly more activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ also data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
08640 Possible Causes:
08640 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 08640 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
