Diameter in engine nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ you can see the exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error will delay your vw fault. |
08638 Possible Causes:
08638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08638 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
