This something to do with the intake camshaft timing shift lock, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster also signal 'door up' not recognized will delay your vw fault. |
08635 Possible Causes:
08635 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08635 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
