This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply, malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit and wait then reset-resistant limp-mode active is the final reason of the code. |
08612 Possible Causes:
08612 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
