The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction and reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
08610 Possible Causes:
08610 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 08610 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
