08610 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about mil control circuit, open / short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off or change intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed is the final reason of the code. |
08610 Possible Causes:
08610 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08610 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
