Diameter in engine bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply, voltage low voltage also ignition switch accessory position, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
08606 Possible Causes:
08606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 08606 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
