This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring . So for next transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
08606 Possible Causes:
08606 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 08606 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
