This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control also load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

08598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 08598 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
