Diagnosing engine bar with diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low or change fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
08585 Possible Causes:
08585 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 08585 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
