This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich also o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |

08552 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
